Mandurah Detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred around 5.10pm yesterday, 16th February 2022, at a restaurant on Mandurah Terrace in Mandurah.
A 76-year-old man was sitting in the outdoor seating area of the restaurant when he was approached by a man not known to him. The offender punched the victim to the face causing him to fall back into a flower bed. The offender then punched the victim whilst he was on the ground.
The 76-year-old man received serious facial injuries and was conveyed to the Peel Health Campus for treatment.
