The State Government has announced all Western Australians can get a flu jab for free during the month of June in a bid to ease pressure on hospitals during winter.
Walk-ins can receive their free jab from a COVID-19 vaccination clinic, while bookings can be made at participating pharmacies.
The WA Government is also working with GPs who would like to administer the free vaccines.
People aged under 5 years, people aged over 65 years, pregnant women, individuals at higher risk of complications from influenza, and Aboriginal people aged six months and older are already eligible for a free flu vaccination under the National Immunisation Program.
"With WA on track for a potentially severe flu season, we want as many Western Australians as possible to get their winter flu vaccination," Premier Mark McGowan said.
"So we're making them free for every Western Australian during the month of June."
Western Australians rolling up for a flu vaccination can get their COVID-19 vaccination at the same time.
