A 20-year-old Baldivis man has been charged after allegedly glassing a security guard in Northbridge.
The security guard was working at the Mustang Bar on Lake Street when he attempted to escort the man out of the venue after he allegedly refused to leave around 11.30pm on Saturday.
The accused then allegedly hit the security guard with a drinking glass, causing a cut to his head which required medical treatment at Royal Perth Hospital.
Police were nearby at the time and the patron was immediately arrested outside the venue.
The 20-year-old Baldivis man has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and failing to leave a licensed premises when required to do so by an authorised person.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court at a later date.
