A car has crashed into a home in Cooloongup overnight.
Emergency services were called to the property on Elanora Drive around 12.30am on Sunday.
Police say a 30-year-old man was driving a white Holden Commodore utility when he lost control, smashing into the home.
The crash caused extensive damage and the SES was called in to assist.
A man in his 70s who was inside the home at the time was not injured.
"The vehicle was impounded and the driver is likely facing several traffic offences. No specific charges have been laid at this time," A WA Police spokesperson said.
Anyone who saw or has vision of the crash, or the Holden Commodore utility travelling in the area prior to the crash, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at www.crimestopperswa.com
