A chainsaw used to collect firewood was believed to be the cause of a fire in Greenfields on Sunday.
It started in bushland near Kangaroo Paw Drive just before 1pm.
"The fire was rapidly brought under control and contained with the effective use of a technique called ‘Back Burning’," a Facebook post from Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue read.
"A backburn is a fire lit close to the edge of an active bushfire, which burns out the fuel between the bushfire and an established control line. The removal of fuel halts the fire's spread, providing suitable conditions for firefighters to finish suppressing the fire."
Fire crews suspect a chainsaw was the cause of the blaze.
