The new Lakelands Train Station officially opens on Sunday, June 11.
Construction began back in November 2021, with the $72 million project jointly funded by the Federal and State Governments.
It's hoped the new station will ease pressure on Warnbro and Mandurah stations, as well as being more convenient for nearby locals.
The opening will be marked by a community celebration on Sunday, June 11 from 12pm-2pm including children's entertainers, face painting, live music, giveaways, sausage sizzle and food trucks.
