A Coodanup man has been refused bail over an alleged sex attack on a woman.
Joshua Stephen Morrison is accused of breaking into the woman's home on Wanjeep Street sometime between 8.30am and 9am on Wednesday.
He allegedly sexually assaulted her before stealing her mobile phone and car.
The 36-year-old was arrested two hours later after the stolen car was spotted by police on Forestry Road in Myalup.
Morrison allegedly failed to stop for officers but was taken into custody a short time later after police deployed a stinger device.
He was then charged with a string of offences including four counts of committing aggravated sexual penetration without consent in the course of an aggravated home burglary, one count of aggravated home burglary and commit, one count of stealing, one count of stealing a motor vehicle and reckless driving to escape pursuit by police.
Morrison appeared in court on Thursday but did not enter a plea.
He was remanded in custody and is due to front the Perth Magistrates Court on June 27.
Investigators urge anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision from the vicinity of Wanjeep Street in Coodanup between 8:30am and 9:30am on 29 May 2024, to upload that vision via the link: https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/community-request/share/hfGHCMd
