A 20-year-old man has been charged over an alleged hit-and-run in Mandurah.
Jakob Barlow is accused of deliberately mowing down TJ Wells as he walked across Mandurah Terrace around 12.30pm on Monday, December 1.
The Meadow Springs man allegedly failed to stop and help the injured 18-year-old, instead continuing in a northbound direction in a white Toyota Rav 4.
TJ suffered a gash to his head and several grazes after being flung into the air and landing on the road.
He was taken to Peel Health Campus by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.

Barlow has since been charged with a string of offences including intent to harm, three counts of no authority to drive, failing to stop and ensure assistance after an incident occasioning bodily harm, failing to report an incident occasioning bodily harm, possession of drugs, six counts of offering to sell or supply a prohibited drug to another, disorderly behaviour in lockup and obstructing public officers.
He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court via video link on December 11.
