A 26-year-old man has been charged over a police chase through Perth's southern suburbs.
Police allegedly spotted the man driving a Subaru Outback with false number plates on the Canning Highway in Applecross around 12.05am on Wednesday.
"Police activated their emergency lights and sirens to stop the vehicle and it is alleged the man failed to stop," a WA Police spokesperson said.
The man allegedly led police along the Kwinana Freeway through the suburbs of Baldivis, Kwinana, Serpentine and Wellard.
Officers then deployed a tyre deflation device near the off-ramp with Safety Bay Road which deflated one of the tyres of the Subaru.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop on Mundijong Road and the man surrendered to police.
The Dianella man has been charged with reckless driving to escape pursuit, failing to stop, no authority to drive, possessing cannabis and possessing methylamphetamine.
He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.
