A fundraising page has been launched to assist the family of a couple who were found dead inside their Cooloongup home.
Ernest and Linda Gielink's bodies were discovered in their Sunningdale Circle home on February 19.
Police are yet to reveal how the couple, aged 66 and 70, died but it was understood to be a suspected murder-suicide.
A GoFundMe page has since been set-up by a family friend.
“The family have endured an unimaginably difficult period and now begin the task of laying their dearly departed to rest and thereafter, pray that they find peace and joy once more,” the GoFundMe page read.
"Many have approached the family, showing love and support during this time and in their physical absence they have asked how they can offer support.
"For this purpose, I ask our community to assist the family with the unforeseen expenses that lie ahead. Please understand that the family can and will get through this emotional period, but any small contribution will be greatly appreciated and put to good use."
Mrs Gielink had been a teacher at a number of local primary schools for several years.
It's understood she had retired just days before she died.
The couple moved to Australia from South Africa more than 20 years ago.
