A Golden Bay man has been charged after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase though several southern suburbs.
The 26-year-old was spotted by police travelling at speed on a black Suzuki motorbike on Hennessey Avenue in Orelia around 10.05am on Tuesday.
Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens and attempted to stop the rider.
He allegedly did not stop and continued to speed through the suburbs of Baldivis, Wellard and Kwinana.
Police Air Wing was deployed and monitored the motorbike, directing officers on the ground to the carpark of Wellard train station where the rider was arrested.
The Golden Bay man has been charged with reckless driving to escape pursuit, failing to stop and possessing an unlicensed firearm/ammunition.
He is due to appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
