Local residents will have access to their own ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ when the Golden Bay Ladder opens this Sunday.
Golden Bay’s Ladder is set to be popular amongst fitness enthusiasts and nature lovers in the region.
The new ladder will include over 100 steps and 360-degree views of the coast, bushland, and community from the top.
The ladder is a feature of the parkland development at Peet’s Golden Bay Estate, which will also include walking trails, an all-abilities path, and the new Treehouse Cove playground.
To celebrate the opening of Golden Bay’s Ladder, there will be a ‘Run for Fun’ community event this Sunday, November 27.
Community members can participate in a 1km, 2km, or 5km fun run and enjoy some great family activities including live music and face painting.
The event will take place at the new Golden Bay Ladder and Treehouse Cove on Elvina Vista in Golden Bay.
