Two jet boat sprint racers have walked away from a high-speed crash in Baldivis.
Darrin Jones and Shane Hammer were competing in a time trial race at the jet sprint park at the weekend when they hit a tyre barrier and lost control.
Mr Jones told 9News, their vessel flipped twice before landing upside down.
"We clipped a tyre and then it was just in the air...we were looking at the sky then we were looking at dirt and sky again," he said.
Both men escaped with just minor injuries.
Mr Jones has credited their safety equipment.
"If anybody is doing any sort of motorsport, spend the money...buy the really good gear and ultimately you walk away from an incident," he told 9News.
The vessel is now undergoing repairs ahead of their next race.
