Man accused of mowing down Greenfields mother pretended to be Good Samaritan

A man who allegedly mowed down a mother-of-five in an alleged hit-and-run in Greenfields has appeared in court.

Brayden Lee Bradshaw is accused of hitting Sherylee Bonney, 40, with his Mazda BT50 on a bush track off Valentine Drive on Tuesday night.

The 31-year-old allegedly fled the scene, leaving Ms Bonney with critical injuries.

It's alleged Mr Bradshaw hid his car before returning to the scene with his five-year-old son around 7.30pm.

He then allegedly called triple zero claiming he had just discovered Ms Bonney, pretending to be a Good Samaritan.

Mr Bradshaw's car was allegedly found in Bibra Lake.

He was arrested on Wednesday night and charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, failing to report an incident occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to stop to ensure assistance.

The accused appeared in the Northbridge Magistrates Court on Thursday and was granted bail.

Mr Bradshaw will reappear in court next month.

Ms Bonney remains in Royal Perth Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
