Police have charged a man and a woman over a number of handbag thefts from shopping centres in the Peel region.
It's alleged between November 15 and 17, the pair stole handbags from people in shopping centre car parks and fled the scenes in a stolen silver Holden Commodore with stolen or no registration plates.
The alleged offences happened in Mandurah, Baldivis, Karnup, Madora Bay, Lakelands, Atwell and Spearwood.
A 30-year-old woman from Withers and a 40-year-old man from Mandurah have been charged with a string of offences including stealing a motor vehicle, aggravated robbery, stealing and possessing a prohibited drug.
Police are continuing to investigate the pair's involvement in other offences.
