A man has been assaulted during a home invasion in Golden Bay.
Police say the offender forced his way into the victim's home around 1.25am on Sunday and hit him in the face before stealing cash.
The man was wearing dark coloured clothing at the time.
The victim was taken by St John Ambulance to Peel Health Campus for further treatment to minor facial injuries.
Detectives are seeking dash-cam footage of the area around Mandurah Road, Singleton Beach Road and Dampier Drive, Golden Bay, from 1am – 2am, particularly any persons on foot or suspicious vehicles in the area at the time.
