Homicide Squad Detectives have charged a 20-year-old man with the alleged murder of a 70-year-old man in Warnbro.
St John paramedics found the deceased man at a home on Okehampton Road on June 1.
The matter was referred to the Homicide Squad after a post-mortem examination determined injuries consistent with suspicious circumstances.
The 20-year-old Canning Vale man, who is known to the deceased, has been charged with one count of murder.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 20.
