Mandurah's very own Kaitlyn Srhoj will play her first game as a GWS Giant this weekend in their AFLW season opener against the Western Bulldogs in Canberra.
The 19-year-old was selected with the Giant's first pick in last year's draft after two standout seasons at Peel Thunder.
She also starred in the Under-18 National Championships for WA.
Coach Cam Bernasconi announced Srhoj's debut in front of her team on Thursday morning.
The 175cm midfielder recently signed a three-year contract extension with the Giants which will see her at the club until the end of the 2027 AFLW season.
Srhoj will make her AFLW debut on Saturday at Manuka Oval.
