A motorcyclist has been arrested over an alleged high-speed chase through Baldivis.
The Police Air Wing first spotted the motorcycle speeding along the Kwinana Freeway near Safety Bay Road around 10.35pm on Thursday, May 18.
About 10 minutes later officers tried to stop the motorbike on Eighty Road but it allegedly sped off.
The helicopter continued to follow the motorcycle which was allegedly being ridden at high speed through several streets.
The rider eventually crashed at slow speed as he pulled into a house under construction on Hampshire Way.
He then picked up the motorbike and tried to hide himself and the vehicle inside the house but police soon found him and the rider was arrested without incident.
The 27-year-old man from Bullsbrook has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving, no authority to drive and using an unlicensed vehicle on a road.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
