New lighting brightens Murray River Foreshore

New lighting is brightening up the Murray River Foreshore in Pinjarra.

The lighting is the third and final installation in a trio of projects aimed at revitalising the heart of Pinjarra, alongside the redevelopment of the Exchange Hotel, the town square and the restoration of the Murray River Foreshore and parkland.  

Shire President David Bolt said these projects are designed to enhance and secure the areas so they remain accessible and available for public use and enjoyment by future generations.  

“The new foreshore lighting is the perfect final touch to showcase the Murray River Foreshore area. Bringing activation to the Pinjarra Suspension Bridge and surrounding riverbanks and foreshore trees.”  

“This lighting installation follows the redevelopment of the Exchange Hotel and the Town Square, further, making it a wonderful space for residents and visitors to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening.

“We are very lucky to have beautiful natural spaces throughout Pinjarra, and we are proud to be activating these spaces for the community.”  

The lighting comes with a suite of colours to be able to change and show support for community celebrations and significant days.

The project was funded by the Shire of Murray and Community Bank Pinjarra.
