A woman has died in a horror boating accident in Mandurah.
Police were called to the scene off Mandurah Terrace near the Mandurah Bridge around 10pm on Saturday.
Police say a boat with four people on board collided with a red post marker in the estuary.
A 54-year-old woman was recovered from the water but could not be revived and died at the scene.
A 52-year-old woman was also thrown into the water.
On Sunday afternoon WA Police issued a statement saying her body had been found.
Shortly after they retracted the statement and confirmed she was still missing and the search was ongoing.
A 47-year-old man, who was believed to be driving the boat, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A second man, aged 54, was not injured in the crash.
