Mandurah Police are investigating the assault of a pedestrian in Dawesville.
The man in his 60s was walking on a footpath near the intersection of Bailey Boulevard and Old Coast Road around 3.15pm on Friday, September 5, when a male riding a dirt bike emerged from an underpass, almost colliding with the pedestrian.
The victim gestured to the rider as he began to ride off.
"The rider returned, verbally and physically threatening the man, before getting off his bike and assaulting him," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"The rider departed the location in a northerly direction along the Old Coast Road footpath."
