Police are investigating an attempted ATM raid and robbery that occurred in Karnup overnight.
Police responded to the incident in Karnup around 1.40am this morning after a stolen black Mitsubishi Triton drove into the foyer of a shopping centre on Redwood Avenue.
Police say those in the vehicle then attempted to force entry to an ATM using the car.
The attempt was unsuccessful, but significant damage was still caused to the ATM.
The vehicle has since been located abandoned in Singleton.
Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
