The Arson Squad is investigating a series of fires that were reported within minutes of each other in a number of southern suburbs.
The fires all happened during the evening of Wednesday, February 21 and police believe they were deliberately lit.
The first was reported about 8.30pm in the Henley Bushland Park on Henley Boulevard in Wellard.
About 8.33pm, a second bushfire was reported in bushland on Meares Avenue in Parmelia.
Another fire was then reported at 8.51pm in bushland off Wellard Road in Calista.
Just four minutes later, a fourth fire was started in bushland off Wellard Road in East Rockingham.
Firefighters managed to extinguish each fire before they were able to spread.
Strike Force Vulcan investigators wish to speak to anyone in the vicinity of the fires who saw any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
