Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the sudden death of an infant in Madora Bay.
Emergency services were called to a home on Balclutha Crescent around 5.15am on Wednesday.
A St John Ambulance spokesperson said the deceased was an infant.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
