A man has been taken into custody following a lengthy standoff with police in the South West.
Emergency services were called to a domestic dispute on on Heppingstone Road in Brunswick around 10pm on Sunday, June 25.
Police say a man in his 40s refused to come out of the home.
It took officers over 11 hours to resolve the incident.
The man is now in police custody and is assisting them with their inquiries.
