Police search for man possibly armed with 'edged weapon'

Police are searching for a 30-year-old man who they believe could be armed with an "edged weapon".

Edward Christopher James Bennell is described as 180cm tall, medium build with receding short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a dark coloured sedan.

If sighted, members of the public should not approach Mr Bennell, as he may be armed with a weapon, but contact police immediately on 131 444.

Mr Bennell is urged to contact police.
