Police say the discovery of a woman inside a charity donation bin in Baldivis was a tragic accident.
Officers were called to the scene on Norseman Approach around 5am on Tuesday after a member of the public made the grim find.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was declared dead the scene.
Rockingham Detective-Senior Sergeant Andrew Elliott said they are treating the death as non-suspicious.
“It seems she became trapped and unable to remove herself from the bin," he said.
The woman is yet to be formally identified.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
