A 54-year-old Port Kennedy man has been charged after shocking footage emerged of three youths hanging out of a moving car as it travelled through several southern suburbs.
The man was allegedly behind the wheel of a white Toyota Corolla which was spotted driving dangerously through Secret Harbour, Golden Bay and surrounding suburbs on Thursday, October 23.
At times, three young teenagers, who were allegedly not wearing seatbelts, could be seen sitting outside of the vehicle, clinging onto the roof.
Dashcam footage and photos of the daring act were posted to local community Facebook pages warning other drivers.
Police have since confirmed the alleged driver has been charged with reckless driving.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
The Corolla has also been impounded.
"The WA Police Force continues to urge all motorists to take care on the road. Drive safely and keep in mind the wellbeing of yourself and others," a WA Police spokesperson said.
