A 31-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man have been charged with the neglect of a six-month-old baby boy.
The baby was admitted to Collie Hospital on September 26 and due to his condition was transferred to Perth Children's Hospital.
The baby died in hospital on October 5.
It is not yet clear how the baby died.
The man and woman from Collie have each been charged with one count of failing to protect a child from harm.
They will both appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
