An Australind man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a girl over eight months, then paying her $10,000 to keep it a secret.
The 28-year-old man allegedly abused the 15-year-old girl between March and November of 2020.
At the time, he was being paid under the NDIS scheme to support the victim.
The man is also accused of paying the girl $10,000 in December 2020 to keep her quiet about his alleged offending.
He has since been charged with three counts of sexual penetration of a child between 13 and 16 years and having a sexual relationship with a child between 13 and 16 years.
The man is due to appear before the Bunbury Magistrates Court today.
