A State-run COVID-19 vaccination clinic has opened in Mandurah ahead of the 'Super Vax Weekend' from November 6 to 7.
The new clinic is located at 5/264 Pinjarra Road and will make it easier for Peel region residents to get vaccinated with Kwinana being the previous closest clinic.
Premier Mark McGowan said pop-up clinics at eight Bunnings stores will also open as part of the ‘Super Vax Weekend’.
“Western Australians can ‘roll up’ to a Bunnings this weekend - grab some indoor plants, pick up a sausage sizzle and get vaccinated," Mr McGowan said.
Participating stores include Rockingham, Harrisdale, Mindarie, Balcatta, Cannington, Ellenbrook, Geraldton and Busselton.
State-run COVID-19 vaccination clinics are available in more than 100 locations across WA, with sites listed on the HealthyWA website and people can attend any State-run clinic without an appointment.
The State-run clinics are in addition to the participating GPs, pharmacies, Aboriginal Medical Services and GP respiratory clinics, which are managed by the Commonwealth.
All Western Australians aged 12 years and above are urged to visit www.rollup.wa.gov.au to find out where they can get vaccinated.
