The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) will return to Rockingham for a magical night of entertainment at the Symphony on the Green event.
Symphony on the Green will be held on Saturday February 18, 2023 from 4.30pm – 9pm at the Village Green in Rockingham.
It offers visitors the chance to enjoy an evening filled with classical and film favourites plus more musical surprises which will be performed by WASO and a number of talented soloists.
Pre-show stage performances will begin from 4.30pm, with the full orchestra on stage from 7pm.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the event.
Mayor Deb Hamblin said the City was delighted to be partnering with WASO to deliver this ever-popular community event.
“Symphony on the Green is one of the City’s most popular Summer Series favourites. Concertgoers are in for an amazing event and can expect to enjoy an evening filled with stunning orchestral music,” Mayor Hamblin said.
“The beauty of Symphony on the Green is that there is something to suit everyone’s taste in music. The City encourages visitors to Rediscover Rockingham and head down to the Village Green to enjoy what will be another unforgettable Summer Series event.”
Parking will be available at the Gary Holland Community Centre carpark and behind the Rockingham Museum off Kent Street. Alternatively, there is ample parking within the vicinity of Village Green.
