Teenage boys charged with 79 offences over alleged crime spree between Singleton and Mandurah

Three teenage boys have been charged over an alleged crime spree between Singleton and Mandurah.

Two 16-year-olds and a 14-year-old boy are accused of breaking into local businesses and homes between September 10 and 14.

On Monday night, they allegedly smashed the windows of five businesses on Fitch Street in Singleton and ransacked them.

These included a Chinese restaurant, a cafe, bakery, fish and chip shop and general store.

The trio are also accused of breaking into an elderly woman's home in Meadow Springs on Tuesday, according to 7NEWS.

They allegedly stole jewellery while she was in another room.

On Wednesday, police spotted them riding two motorbikes on the South Western Highway in Pinjarra.

They were arrested after they fell from the motorbikes during an alleged police pursuit.

The boys have been charged with a total of 79 offences including aggravated home burglary and commit, stealing a motor vehicle and reckless driving.

They will appear in the Perth Children's Court on September 20, September 30 and October 5 respectively.
