Two charged over $2M meth haul in Mandurah

Two men have been charged over an alleged haul of drugs and cash in Mandurah.

As part of ongoing efforts to disrupt the sale and supply of illicit drugs in the area, Mandurah Police executed two search warrants on March 26.

Over 3kgs of methylamphetamine, 890g of cocaine, 1kg of cannabis and over $80,000 was seized.

The street value of the methylamphetamine is over $2 million.

A 49-year-old man from Parklands has been charged with seven offences including possessing a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on May 22.

A 33-year-old man from Dudley Park has been charged with six offences including possessing a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine and stealing a motor vehicle.

He is due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court today, April 11.

A WA Police Force spokesperson said this will be a clear message that illicit drugs will not be tolerated in the community and they will remain committed to targeting anyone involved in the supply or distribution of drugs.
