Two young men have been released on bail after allegedly threatening to "behead" Premier Mark McGowan and his children.
It is alleged Zayvier Rose and Max Czirr called the Premier on his mobile phone around 8.50pm on November 20 and left a number of threatening messages.
On Tuesday, Mr McGowan revealed the 20-year-old and 18-year-old men had threatened to behead him and his children.
The men from Canning Vale and Harrisdale have each been charged with one count of Acts Creating False Apprehension as to the Existence of Threats or Danger.
They appeared in the Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday and were released on bail.
They will next appear in court on December 17.
The alleged threats come after the Premier was forced to close his Rockingham electorate office due to his staff being threatened.
Mr McGowan was also verbally abused while attending a town hall meeting in Bunbury last weekend.
It is understood majority of the threats and verbal abuse towards the Premier are from people who are against the COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
