The annual Alcoa Children's Festival scheduled for Saturday, March 28 has been cancelled due to extreme weather.
The City of Kwinana made the announcement on Wednesday.
"This decision has been made in the interest of community safety and wellbeing," a City of Kwinana spokesperson said.
"Due to extreme weather, it is not possible to safely deliver the event, with many rides activities and marquees unable to be installed or run in high winds or extreme rain.
"The safety of our community, staff, vendors and performers is our highest priority.
"We understand this event is highly anticipated and the cancellation is disappointing for many families."
