A 22-year-old Baldivis man has been charged over an alleged attack on another man in the Pilbara region.
It's alleged the man was at a licensed premise on Sharpe Avenue in Karratha around 11.50pm on March 25 when he assaulted a 24-year-old man who was not known to him.
The accused allegedly punched the victim in the face causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground.
The victim suffered serious facial injuries and has since undergone multiple surgeries to repair fractures and damage to his teeth.
Last week, police arrested the man in Newman as a result of their investigation and with the help of the public.
The Baldivis man, who police say is a Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang prospect, has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear before the Karratha Magistrates Court on August 2.
