Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information about a fatal crash that occurred in Baldivis on Monday, 15 July 2024.
About 4pm, a white Toyota RAV4 station wagon was travelling north on Nairn Drive and as the vehicle approached the roundabout at the intersection with Safety Bay Road, the vehicle struck a male pedestrian.
The pedestrian fell onto the road and was tragically struck by a second vehicle, a black Mazda CX9 station wagon that was also travelling on Nairn Drive.
The 76-year-old pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Rockingham General Hospital where he died a short time later.
Major Crash investigators are urging anyone with any information relating to this crash, or who saw the white Toyota RAV4, the black Mazda CX9 or the pedestrian in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
