A 64-year-old woman has died after a fire broke out in her Waikiki home earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the home on Mornington Boulevard just after 11am.
The fire was contained to the laundry room and its roof and was extinguished by 11.35am.
Sadly, a 64-year-old woman who was a resident at the property was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
Investigations are still underway to determine the cause of the fire.
