A 32-year-old Madora Bay man has been charged after police allegedly found him in possession of stolen equipment and machinery belonging to a grain service site in the Wheatbelt.
A Cat skid steer was allegedly stolen from the grain service site on Coalfields Road in Arthur River between January 31 and the following morning of February 1.
Three days later, two trailer mounted light towers were also stolen from the same site.
The total value of the stolen property was about $60,000.
On Friday, March 20, officers from Boddington Police, Williams Police and Dwellingup Police executed a search warrant at a property in Nambeelup.
During the search, police allegedly located one of the light towers and the yellow skid steer.
The items were seized and will be returned to the grain service site.
A Madora Bay man has been charged with possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property and one count of receiving.
He is due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on April 14.
