A 26-year-old man accused of stabbing another man with a screwdriver at Mandurah Train Station has appeared in court.
Cory Peter Gardiner was charged with grievous bodily harm and supplying a prohibited drug following the alleged incident around 10.30am on Wednesday.
It is alleged Mr Gardiner and a 33-year-old man became involved in an altercation at the train station before the accused stabbed the victim.
The man was taken to Peel Health Campus for treatment.
Mr Gardiner appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday where it was revealed he was also awaiting sentencing in the District Court on further drug charges, according to The West Australian.
The South Yunderup man was remanded in custody and will reappear in the Perth Magistrates Court on October 10.
