A 36-year-old man has been charged after allegedly jumping out of a moving vehicle while holding a child in Greenfields.
Police say a gold Nissan Pathfinder was travelling west on Gordon Road around 7.30pm on Saturday, May 17 when the man allegedly jumped out of the car with the child.
The child suffered minor injuries.
The man has since been charged with failing to protect a child from harm.
