Police are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Erskine on Monday, 18 August 2025.
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section say that about 9:30pm, a white 2012 Mazda B3 sedan was driving on Old Coast Road, when it struck a male pedestrian crossing the road.
The drive stopped at the scene and assisted police with their inquiries.
Emergency services attended and conveyed the 37-year-old male pedestrian to Peel Health Campus for treatment of serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a stable but critical condition.
