Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a burnt out car near Boddington.
The silver Holden Commodore had been set alight on Ricks Road near North Bannister-Wandering Road in the small town of Springs just before 12.30pm on December 6.
The man's body was discovered in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.
He is believed to be a 53-year-old man from Boddington.
Detectives believe the man was in the company of one or more people in the time leading up to the car fire.
His death is being treated as suspicious.
As inquiries continue, detectives are seeking to identify a dark-coloured four-wheel drive, which was captured driving on North Bannister-Wandering Road, near a petrol station on Watt Street in Wandering in the early hours of Friday, December 6.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with any information, or anyone who was in the vicinity of Albany Highway and North Bannister-Wandering Road between 10:30pm Thursday, December 5 and 6am on Friday, December 6, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
