A huge storm has lashed Mandurah, Rockingham and surrounding areas leaving thousands without power.
A wind gust of 98km/h was recorded just after 5.30am on Tuesday in Mandurah, while Garden Island was hit with 100km/h winds.
Dwellingup copped a drenching with 67mm of rain falling in the past 24 hours.
The SES has been called out to nearly 180 calls for help since midday Monday with most of those calls coming from the southern suburbs including Rockingham and Mandurah.
Multiple residents on Dixon Road have also reported roof damage and flooding.
A tree has fallen onto power lines on Second Avenue in Mandurah, while a power pole is over the road at the Dampier Road and Warnbro Sound Avenue roundabout in Golden Bay.
A power line has also fallen onto a driveway on Allnutt Street.
It has been a busy morning for Western Power crews with thousands of residents without electricity.
Affected suburbs include Baldivis, Golden Bay, Singleton, Lakelands, Karnup, Port Kennedy, Warnbro and Waikiki.
Western Power is estimating a restoration time of 9.30am.

UPDATE: There's currently around 21,000 homes and businesses across the network have been affected with around 13,000 located in the metro area, 3,500 in the South West and Great Southern and 4,500 in the Wheatbelt and Mid West.

Our priority during the storm is responding to reported hazards to ensure the safety of the community and our crews. Repair work will be undertaken when safe, as some of the equipment needed (elevated work platforms) cannot be used during dangerous winds.
