The Rockingham Flames men have suffered a heartbreaking loss in their NBL1 West semi-final clash with the Willetton Tigers.
The Flames were leading by 17 points at quarter-time but the Tigers clawed their way back with the help of former Rockingham star Marshall Nelson.
Nelson was a key member of the Rockingham side that saw them win both the 2022 NBL1 West and National championships.
He also helped steer the Flames to a National Finals decider last year before he crossed over to the Tigers in the 2024 pre-season.
Marshall had the best performance of his career against his old side in Thursday night's semi-final scoring 48 points.
It was a tight game until the end with the Flames losing by just five points, 108-103.
Two-time MVP Devondrick Walker scored 27 points for Rockingham, while captain Ryan Godfrey contributed with 23 points.
The defeat ends the Flames' finals campaign.
