Part of the Kwinana Freeway in Stake Hill was closed for six hours overnight after a truck ploughed into an overpass.
It's understood the truck's hydraulic arm was fully extended when it travelled under the bridge heading north at Lakes Road around 10.45pm on Thursday.
It caused the tipper tray to completely tear off before the truck continued into a median strip.
Luckily, no one was injured.
Crews spent hours cleaning up the scene.
