Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will make a special address to the nation later today.
He is set to cover the federal government's response to the Middle East conflict and Australia's fuel crisis.
Albanese's address will be broadcast simultaneously on all television and some radio networks from 4pm (AWST).
Previous national addresses have been made during crises including the COVID pandemic and the global financial crisis.
