Point Peron Beach has been closed to the public due to a shark sighting.
A member of the public sighted the unknown species of shark around 9.07am on Tuesday about 30 metres offshore.
The beach is closed between Beach Emergency Network Signs (BEN) RO99 and RO108.
City of Rockingham rangers are monitoring the area.
